Change Your Password

Change your Prism password from the account menu, and learn what to do if you have forgotten it.

You can change your password at any time while you are signed in. Every user can do this, whatever their role.

How to change your password

Open the account menu
Click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar.
Choose Change password
Click Change password. A box called Change password opens. It says "Choose a new password for your account", followed by your email.
Type your new password
Enter it in New password. It must have at least 6 characters.
Type it again
Enter the same password in Confirm password.
Save
Click Update password. The button shows Updating…. When it works, you see Password updated successfully. and the box closes.

Click Cancel to close the box without changing anything.

Prism has no "Forgot password" or reset link. You need your current session to change your password here. If you cannot sign in:

Message	How to fix it
Password must be at least 6 characters.	Use a longer password.
Passwords do not match.	Type the same password in both boxes.
Failed to change password	Try again. If your session has ended, sign in again first.

How long must my new password be?

At least 6 characters. Both boxes must match.

I forgot my password. Can I reset it?

Prism has no Forgot password link. Ask your Prism admin or your Techmagnate contact, or email support@techmagnate.com.

Do I need to sign in again after changing my password?

The box simply closes after Password updated successfully. Use your new password the next time you sign in.
