What Is Prism?
A short introduction to Prism by Techmagnate, what each part of the platform does and who it is for.
3 min read Updated
Prism is an SEO analytics platform made by Techmagnate. It brings your search data into one place and shows it in simple reports. You can see what changed, why it changed and what to do next.
What Prism helps you do
- Understand your Google traffic. See your Google Search Console clicks next to your Google Analytics 4 sessions, conversions and revenue. A click is one time someone clicked your site in Google search. A session is one visit to your site.
- Find the reason behind a change. When traffic goes up or down, Prism shows which pages and keywords moved.
- Track your rankings. Follow your keywords on Google and Bing, your apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store, and your videos on YouTube.
- See your AI visibility. Check how often AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini mention your brand and cite your pages.
The main parts of Prism
| Part | What it does |

| Analytics (GA4 + GSC) | Your Google Analytics 4 and Search Console data side by side. |
| Advanced Analytics | Deeper reports: Category Breakdown, URL Breakdown, Keywords Breakdown, SEO Root Cause Analysis, URL Deep Dive, Anomaly Wizard and Opportunity Finder. |
| Category Builder | Decide how your pages are grouped into categories and which searches count as your brand. |
| Search rankings | Rank tracking for Google SERP, Bing, Google Play Store, Apple App Store and YouTube. |
| LLM Tool | Your brand's visibility in AI assistants and AI search answers. |

You can read more about each part on the features page.
The two panels
Prism has two main areas:
- The Prism panel holds all the reports. Every signed-in user can open it.
- The Client panel is for project administration: team members, project settings and keyword settings. Only project admins and owners can open it.

Where the data comes from
- Search Console and Google Analytics 4 connect through Google with read-only access. Prism syncs them every day. See Data sync schedule.
- Rankings and AI visibility come from tracking projects that your admin sets up for each channel. They refresh on the frequency set for each tracking project (Daily, Weekly or Monthly).
Who uses Prism
- SEO teams use it to find what changed and fix it quickly.
- Agencies keep each client in its own project.
- Marketing teams use it to follow organic traffic, conversions and brand visibility.

Frequently asked questions
Why can't I see every module in my sidebar?
You only see the modules that are turned on for your project, minus any pages your admin has restricted for you. Dashboard and Integrations are always available. Ask your admin if you need another module.
Does Prism change anything in my Google accounts?
No. Prism asks Google for read-only access to Search Console and Google Analytics 4. It can read your data but cannot change it.
