Where to find it in Prism:Client panelWorkspaceProject settings

What is it?

Project settings is where admins manage the tracking projects inside a Prism project. A tracking project follows one channel, such as Google rankings or the LLM Tool, for one domain, location and device.

Why use it?

Use it to add a new tracking project, change a location or frequency, update your keyword or prompt list, or check who created a project and when.

Before you start

How to use it

  1. Open the Client panel

Open the Current Project switcher in the top bar and click + New project.

  2. Open Project settings

    Under Workspace, click Project settings.

  3. Choose a channel tab

Pick Google, LLM Tool, Bing Rankings, YouTube, Play Store or App Store.

  4. Find the project

Use the filters to narrow the table, then use the Actions column to view or edit a project.

  5. Save your changes

In the Edit project form, change what you need and click Save changes. You will see Settings saved. Click Cancel to leave without saving.

Understanding the screen

Channel tabs

There is one tab per channel turned on for the project. If no channel is on, you see No channels are enabled for this project.

Filters

Above the table you can filter by Created by, Updated by, Frequency and Device.

The project form

The same form opens as Create project, Edit project or View project. Its fields are explained in Set up a project. In short:

  • Sync Frequency options and LLM platforms come from what your admin has set up. If they are missing, you see a hint asking you to contact your admin.
  • App Store tracking only supports country-level locations.

Keyword and prompt files

Files must be Excel (.xlsx or .xls). The header row must be exactly:

FileHeaders
KeywordsKeywords, Brand, Category, SubCategory
LLM promptsPrompts, Category, SubCategory

Use Download sample file for a template and Download current file to get what is saved now.

Keyword Setting

The Client panel also has a Keyword Setting group. It uses the same Excel rules, and its Export Keywords button downloads your keyword list (for example google-keywords.xlsx). Learn more in Keywords and prompts.

Example

For example, your Google tracking project refreshes Weekly, but you now want daily numbers. Open the Google tab, find the project, open it for editing from Actions, change Sync Frequency to Daily and click Save changes. The new frequency then decides how often its rankings refresh. See Data sync schedule.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't I see a tab for YouTube or the App Store?

You only see tabs for channels that are turned on for your project. If none are on, the screen says No channels are enabled for this project. Ask your admin.

How do I change how often a project refreshes?

Open the project for editing from the Actions column, choose another Sync Frequency, and click Save changes. The options come from what your admin has set up.

Can I download the keywords I uploaded?

Yes. Click Download current file in the project form, or use Export Keywords on the Keyword Setting screen.
